I really like the photo a lot. I don't know much about pianos, but being that the aperture was so large and ONLY the one key is in focus, it might do the picture more justice if it were titled "b flat" or "f sharp" or whatever key that is.
That's just something I thought that could add more to your photo -- it doesn't take anything away, it's still a beautiful photo. |

I like the DOF here, the reflection on the keys is really interesting. |

I like the way you`ve highlighted the one key..it may not be to everyone`s taste but, to me, it has added enough to the image to give a common subject much more interest.
Well done |

not sure, really. the very precise depth of field looks a little fake, sudden and unnatural. it might not be editted, i can't say for certain, but it just feels a bit, erm, wrong 0 i think the harshness along the top edge of the in-focus key does it. I do like how it goes slightly bonkers in the top right though, and conceptually, this is a really good photo - quite arty, in fact. just needs to go a little softer on the softening... 5. |

This looks like the work of a 50mm 1.8 at aperature 1.8. I think you used too short a DOF even though I normally like it that way. The bokeh of the 50mm 1.8 is also very bad, I hate those five cornered shapes that come out of it. Anyway not a bad shot at all, but not good either so I gave it a 5. |

Good DOF Shallow. For me (that's my taste) more than one key on focus will be better. But it's your taste and feeling.
Keep the good job. |

I think if you had the the front ones in focus and let the rest go osoft the image would be stronger, also the OOF highlights are a distraction. i rate this at=3 |

Very nice effect and concept; I am not sure that the one key being in focus actually "works" for me however. The image is a bit unsettling or over-worked for me to completely enjoy. |
