 This beautiful lady was sitting in Mysore market in India which is a riot of colour and life. She kindly allowed me to take a couple of photographs of her and I was so pleased to capture her lovely smile, which had caught my eye in the first place.

This is one of my favourite photographs - not just the image itself but what it represents. Even if it doesn't score well I'll still love it! I've learned so much since I came on this site; and without the advice and encouragement from the commenters and critiquers I would never have plucked up the courage to take this picture. Thanks folks!

Still some way to go but I'm pressing on.....

I'm not fond of the flash on this image. I like your composition (although taking a bit off the top would make it much more intimate) and her beautiful smile... but... it's ruined by the flash, in my opinion.
