 This is my favorite challenge in a long time, because I really really learned something. Something useful. Something amazing. A new tool for the box.

I kind of love this technique. It is hard to pull off, but done well, can create magic.

To answer the question, this is 10 images stitched together. I used a macro rail that I normally use for focus stacking. But I Put the camera sideways, so I was able to slide through the scene, capturing much more detail than possible in a single capture.

This is very interesting and extremely well stitched together. I know it's frost but it actually looks like something growing in a science lab :-) this is one of my favorites in this contest and I hope it does well.
