"I think the elephants would work much better if the curtain were not in front of them and if they were composed near the bottom of the photograph."

Why? It would have been a completely different photograph then, and not one I would have taken, because then it would have been obvious and not nearly as interesting. Plus, there is no where for the elephants to walk near the bottom of the photograph...they were just passing through anyway.

Interesting in a very abstract way, like how the silhouettes have shadows/silhouettes of their own.
