Very nice capture. The colors are a bit too vibrant for my taste but they work well with the subject. There's something odd going on with DOF. Focus on the mushrooms themselves is a bit soft. Sounds like I don't like the photo, but that's not true. It's one of my top 3 picks this challenge. It's a beautiful photo in spite of these pretty minor distractions.

This is the fifth time I have to look at your picture. I just love the contarst between the color. Too bad that there's an orange-brown area below the mushrooms. Luckily most of it is covered by their shadow. It really appeals to me how the mushrooms try to 'break through' the overwhelming green wood. The contrast is emphasized even more by the difference between the plant's smooth and the wood's rough texture. A great shot. 10.

what did you paint the wood around the mushrooms? I wanted to give it a 10 but after thinking about this I'm not so shure. If only I knew, oh well you get a 6
