This image is a nice idea, but suffers from a couple of points for me.
1. Size. I'd have liked to have seen this larger.
2. Focus. This might be an issue with your camera and a lack of a good macro setting, but the crispness isn't there. (one reason why you may have chosen a smaller file size.
3. colors and contrast. The image seems faded, and the darks and lights just aren't dark and light enough for me. Added contrast would have given this image a much stronger feel. |

| I like the idea and the cropping. Would have been more dramatic with more intense lighting for more color saturation. |

| Clever idea. I think your socre will suffer from the small resizing, soft focus and grayed colors, though. |

| I find this pic hard to imagine on a calendar, it's worth remembering that the majority of people on dpc are not in the US |

| good idea, though the image is small and lacks contrast and saturation. It's very flat as is. |

| If you have increased the saturation it would make quite a difference. Well fitted for July. |
