 I'd done shots using this technique before just playing with and learning Photoshop in the past, so when the Expert FS came up I had in mind to do one similar to those. Then one morning the idea to do a street scene captured over time popped in my head and I set about finding the right time and place to do it.

As I shot this I thought I'd gotten everything I needed and was about to take the camera off the tripod when I spotted the tall gent with the cane walking my way. So glad I waited.

And I should add, I'm almost glad this didn't make the 7.0 mark (it was there for 5 days) - I'd hate to have 60% of my 7's fail to blue. LOL

Congratulations on your Ribbon, Jake!
I really enjoy exploring all of the image. I like trying to make a story about what they're all doing or going to do. Fun.

Yeah... mine was high enough (for four/five days) to get on my top nine that show on my profile page. I was hoping it would stay there. Oh well.
