Not bad for iso 12800, right? Ah who am I kidding, it's noisy as hell. Diners at the Sirocco restaurant at the top of lebua - State Tower, Bangkok. Shot with the ultra-wide, stopped down a little from wide open to try to get some reasonable detail in the city - but I was handholding, and even with the crazy ISO this was 1/10th of a second, any slower would have been a mess.
Editing: cloning out hot pixels, crop, tone curve adjustment, dodging and burning, resize, slight sharpen. |

An interesting image that meets the challenge well.
Well yes, you’re right about the noise, this is definitely a candidate for the string theory! A great composition, excellent use of an intimate space within a global space it works really well. The distortions that could be expected from such a wide angle shot have been handled very well to keep them to the minimum as you have. His image is not as good as yours! Well done for another excellent image Eugene |

| Love the depth and lighting in this image. Certainly passes the test for a "scape" in this challenge. The focus is a bit soft for my taste, but I still think it is a ribbon contender. |
