So I wanted to come up with something unique. Mess sounded so boring. So I wanted to play around with the lighting.
Of course, you need to wait until last minute to do that. When it's nice and dark.
Then you spend a heck of a lot of time trying to get the light painting right. Different shots. Different messy spots. Different messy rooms, different angles, different paintings.
Make sure you check the settings first: what you want the contrast, saturation, etc. to be.
It would also help if you actually remember to change to jpeg after checking the jpeg settings!!
I hate minimal!! Simply because I can never get my act together. I had actually set it to raw+sjpg, but I never ended up using the small jpgs, so it was just taking up too much download time and space.
Sigh.
Grab all the equipment, go back up, reshoot it in 5 minutes or less.
Ah well -- at least I made someone wonder how I did it! :)
Thanks for the comments. :)
Maybe I'll just set things back to RAW +sjpg again... (Or I could just complain some more next time! :)
