If you didn't called it a heron, I would call it a penguin ;) Wonderful eyes!

Somebody should call the Sierra Club, alert them to all the wonderful photos in this challenge. It's truly amazing. What a beautiful planet we have to live on. Thanks for posting this shot.

Doesn't he just look pissed off??? I would have loved to know where this was shot. It's very tightly cropped. But you do have good feather detail...I'll give you that.
