**scrambling** to get an entry in. Probably won't fare well.
I was hungry, so I started to make myself breakfast. I recalled the "Egg" challenge and decided to shoot some. My dad had just bought an unfinished wood table, so I used that as a background. For my macro tripod, I made little feet out of paper towels, so I wouldn't mar the surface. Anyways, I set this up, threw some eggs beside the pan, and took a handful of shots, with and without my lightsource. though I liked the color of without the lightsource better, I ended up choosing this one ecause it gave the yolk and the table a nice rich color. That and it blocked out the shadow I made from the natural sunlight (my back was to the window)
Screwed around in Compupic pro for a while, then took it into PSE and cloned out that nasty white membrane stuff, along with some visible PAM spray (so the egg won't stick.)
I ate the egg afterwards for breakfast. |

| I would heve croped a bit more of the right. good lighting but bit harsh on the bottom egg. |

| The eggs and compostion are just perfect; the purple artifacts and noise ruin an otherwise wonderful take. |

| Great warm colors and lighting. The earthy textures and the worn look of the pan all go well together. I want the table or counter top to be nicked up a bit. The eggs or one egg alone using this same lighting and color would be stunning. |
