 the recent hunter moon shot through foliage in my backyard.

i considered whether to enter this pic in this particular challenge. i realize it may not be enough 'foliage' for some. but i actually consciously included the trees in the shot of the moon, which was not easy to do. i used my flash to bring out the leaves, and still had to make some adjustments to make them visible.

the photo was taken handheld.

In my opinion, this clear focus on the moon... makes this a moon shot... the foliage doesn't come into play except as a frame...

I'm not voting on this, but I think it would have done better in a different challenge topic since you've done such a fabulous job of shooting the moon with great details.
