Hello from the critique club
An interesting image that contributes well to the open challenge
As you say, this is a popular viewpoint but nonetheless still very appealing. This is well executed with a good level of detail throughout the image. I am not in favour of a sterile scene completely lacking in people especially a cityscape and one that you expect to see plenty of people in so I like the person in the lower left and those on the bridge its minimal but essential. There is quite a high key feel to your mono conversion which works well though the rather bland and largely uninteresting sky would have benefited from cropping in favour of the immediate foreground especially using the wide angle to accentuate the near leading lines. A good job well done Jonathon. |

I keep looking at this picture and discover each moment something interesting in it. maybe a real B&W could be better. An 8 from me |
