Challenge: Macro Without Bugs or Flowers (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon PowerShot G5
Location: Garage bench. 'Studio'.
Date: Nov 7, 2004
Aperture: F/5.0
ISO: 50
Shutter: 1/250th
Galleries: Still Life, Science and Technology
Date Uploaded: Nov 7, 2004

Believe it or not, this started out as a watch photo, but the watch I had with the back off was rusty inside, so I scratched around the office looking for something that looked interesting close up...

Shot between two softboxes. Post editing was just crop, USM, slight curves, desat the red channel a bit as the fingers looked too pink, and then save for the web.

There was no scaling, this is basically a 100% crop from the center of the image.

I have been trying to look at the picture from the side hehe maybe cause the letter on the chip are that way. I feel this reminds me of some kind of poster

The lighting is a bit flat and the photo is also out of focus. Try boosting the contrast a little and then using USM.
