Seems a bit grainy in the background. Good capture with the wings out. |

Good composition but I don't like the noise in the background |

it's a nice shot, but it's really noisy. a lower ISO would have done the trick to reduce the noise (but it's not always possible to shoot with a lower ISO huh?)

Stunning photo! I would desaturate the colors of the background; they distract from the main image. Everything else is perfect. The weathered wood and the muted colors of the bird are splendid. Very nice! |

This has kind of a November feel to it. It needs something to make it "pop". I don't know if it's saturation, contract, or a combination. 5 |

What a moment to capture! There appears to be a considerable amount of noise that I can't tell if you wanted or not for what you envisioned. |

very nice except for the exceptionally noisy background. usually a result of oversaturation, but the rest doesn't look that way, so i'm not sure. the colour in the background is great, and punctuates the month nicely, but the noise is quite distracting.
the rest is great. nice shallow depth, crisp focus, nice positioning of the gull within the frame. i can just hear the sounds: "mine! mine! mine!" (sorry - Finding Nemo reference; how can you tell i have a four-year old?)

Nice composition. Love the exposure, focus and use of grain here. A wonderfully timed shot and eloquentlycropped. I would have liked to see the wing tips extending just shy of vertical center to keep the "I am bird therefore I fly" feel. Perfect callandar shot. 8. |

The background really seems pixelated. |

great pic, would be improved if the noise could be reduced and the image slightly lightened |

Great gull, grainy background a bit distracting though. |
