Thank you for all of the votes / comments and for the 3rd place ribbon! I find the content on DP Challenge to be very inspirational and helpful - great website!
I got this shot after taking some pictures in a park by my house with my family. The sun had just set, giving the moon a yellow glow. I had to dial back my exposure quite a bit to keep from blowing out the bright moon. This resulted in the deep blue sky and silhouette trees / hills in the photo.

| Lovely contrasting colors! The only thing I may would have done different is try to put the moon a little more to the right if at all possible. This one is a keeper.10 |
