hi greetings from the CC, the lighting is very good in your shot, the tree color is handled very well, there is a lot of detail in the leaves and composition. The tree IMO is the most interesting aspect of the shot, the way the composition makes the trees look as they are one with this beautiful curve over the church. I would like to see it with less space on the top and bottom, and I would of considered cloning out the white dome building on the right, I find that it pulls my eye away from where the rest of the photo pulls to. Just my thoughts. hope it helps, overall a pleasing shot with great light and color.

This is, and I must point out that I didn't get to vote on every shot, the most ideal 'calendar' photo i've seen in the challenge. Clever work - exactly the kind of representative, season-specific shot that one would expect, exactly the saturation, exactly the feel. My only gripe would be with the amount of sky - it gives a slight feeling of missing something to the composition. I can see your reasons, with that slight feel of clouds there to add some interest, but I think you've sacrificed more to get that in that you have won from including it. But excellent work: it should be exactly this orthodox, ordinarily 'classic' photography: I think you perhaps got marked down for getting it too right.

Beautiful colors and interesting building. I think a change in angle, if possible, would have pushed this one to the top for me. The building seems a bit overwhelmed by the tree, and the tree a bit too centered. When I look at this I wonder what a zoom on the clock tower with the edges of the fall tree in the frame might have looked like.

Great colors! I think I might have cropped more of the sky out of the picture. 6

Very nice colors. The lawn and sky are amazing. The larger tree is slightly underwhelming though. EIther way, I really like this picture.

I think cropping out the building on the left would make this stronger.
