 I have never viewed the work of Aaron Siskind before I looked him up after seeing this challenge. I love this style and have been experimenting with it all week. This was one of my first attempts and it has stuck with me as a favorite through about 3 dozen other shots for this challenge. Seemed fitting to use it as my challenge entry.

An interesting image that contributes well to the challenge

This is a nice abstract that pays homage to Aarons work, I like it. Your composition, the flat lighting, mono presentation and seeing all contribute well to the challenge theme. The sinuous strands of the dead plant add a lovely element of interest to the wall. I see this is only your 5th challenge and already you are a double ribbon holder, you are undoubtedly contributing in a significant way, I look forward to more of your work Philip.
