Surely this will be my first brown ribbon. This is probably the most boring shot I've entered in 654 challenges. It's poorly composed, crooked and taken with no passion. It is also fake. It's a prop in the Hunger Games exhibition in Sydney but part of their shops so it's not DNMC but still Brown Ribbon worthy. Just look at the title!

Yes!! I got my first brown and with a shot that is not DNMC. Now I can enter any Brown ribbon free study.

Not quiet straight, busy background, alot of textures. Doesn't really work for me.

The light on the plant is nice, but the composition and unlevel horizon don't make it compelling for me.

I'm not sure I understand this. Are these growing? If so, why will they be brown? If not, why are they in a planter?

What bothers me the most in this shot is that the image is tilted. It bothers me a lot. That and the totally overexposed top (or is it back) part of the salad - the unsung hero of this shot.
