Interetsing shot because it looks like a rose. The b/w rendition with single light source gives this study a very artistic feel. Bumping to 10 on sheer visual impact.

The whites look a bit over exposed but the contrast is good and works well with the B&W.

This is one of those that you will quote in the future.
"This image is both too dark and too light at the same time"
I like the subject matter as it is certainly different, the image is made a little distracting because of the darkness of the left hand side and the over exposed lightness of the right hand side.

Wow! That really looks like a hand grasping a rolled papaer! If that extra little piece of shell was not there it would be hard to tell this isn't a sculpture. Nice in B&W too!

Incredibly beautiful shot. The only thing I might want to see different is slightly more space on the right side of the image, just so the shell edge is clear.
