This really is a photo of the passage of time and the loss of a friend.

In 2009:



Holy crap -- look at the number of comments on that shot, and it ended up at place# 48 with 136 entries. Ok -- there really was a good old days.

Then in 2012, We lost one of the trees. It was incredibly sad to come across it. Yet we still enjoyed it.



And here it is in 2017. (It's high tide in the recent shot, that's why the extra water. It's still bizarre having rivers with tides. :)
