Please explain how this is a macro?
11/13/2004 08:25:55 AM
This isn't a macro or a closeup... unless the plain is about 1cm long.
11/12/2004 11:20:16 PM
Doesn't fit the challenge.
11/12/2004 12:35:58 PM
A real lack of closeness to me
11/11/2004 10:03:38 PM
funny is all i can say

a bit of a tilt to it and just a tad blown out on the top of the cockpit and nose, good focus, overall a fairly nice shot but not sure it qualifies as a macro, to me a macro is nearly life size or larger

nope, not a macro.

I feel that a macro could best be desribed as taking a photo of somthing in such a manner that you would get the feeling that you were an inch tall. Everything around you that was before so insignificant is not dazzling in it intricacy. The hairs on a leaf, the way sand apears as boulders, or the way an an't has somehow become larger than you. This I don't feel fits what I would consider a macro.

Doesn't fit the subject

lol, come on! Are you serious? lol

EIther you didn't understand the challenge theme or you're shooting for last place.

I don't see how this qualifies as a macro. I wouldn't call this close-up. Zoomed in from far away maybe, but not close-up.

Very creative. While this is, likely, as extreme a close-up of a jet on the jetway that is easily takeable, I still don't feel it fits the challenge.
11/10/2004 03:02:24 PM
Haha what?
11/10/2004 02:53:48 PM
Is this macro?
11/10/2004 01:40:56 PM
not to "macro" but great shot 8
11/10/2004 01:32:46 PM
This is a great close-up shot of an airplane, but for this challenge I might have attempted a close-up shot of one of the elements of the plane.

Interesting interpretation of macro. To me there are too many parts just chopped off. For me it would work better if this were a closeup of the cockpit, chopping off the landing gear, wings and tail section.
11/10/2004 01:00:28 PM
umm.... no
11/10/2004 08:19:55 AM
1st it's tilted. 2nd not a macro. 3rd. 1
11/10/2004 04:19:33 AM
Creative use of MACRO !
11/10/2004 02:05:37 AM
seems pretty far away, as well as big for a macro.
11/10/2004 01:49:18 AM
Really. Really? Uh-huh.
