did you sharpen this? hhmm.. try getting nearer. i think it could look fabolous. also with some lighting.. (^o^)

The whole photo looks very pixelated. Did you increase the size? It's also rather centered. Try experimenting with more interesting compositions.

This is certainly a beautiful necklace, and I admire that you wanted to immortalize it. I would, too, if I owned it! It seems your background is more in focus than the necklace - or perhaps it's the noise in the background that is distracting. The position of the subject shows as much of the setting as the stones. Perhaps if you had taken the shot from above the necklace you might have been more pleased with the result.

the jewel in this shot is out of focus, but its the subject so its kinda weird to look at.

maybe its just low res. can't figure it out.
