I really like your subject. I think a few things that could help this photo would be smaller aperture making the whole âthingâ sharp. Another would be a different table top to place it on, maybe blackâ¦I donât know. I do love the other colors, and itâs eyes. Great! One more small thing, itâs eyes seem a bit hazy due to the light, but other than a diffuser or something along those lines I donât know how to fix that. I think the border works also. Once again, great subject and attempt.

LOL like the title, although the photo is really hazy, hard to tell if it's just out of focus. Avec un certain travail je sais que ce serait un projectile gentil. Not sure if that makes sense.

This definately needs more contrast. The whole photo seems very pale and washed out. Try making it a bit darker and contrasty with Levels in post processing.

tres right, but n'est pas very interesting either. You should have used a black table for the creature to stand on, there is an nasty cast to the eyes.

If you had followed Matisse's point to its logical conclusion, you might as well have used a real bug. Anyway, as I was viewing this, my wife walked in and had a quick giggle. Thanks.
