 This months entry comes directly from Italy! My wife and I spent a week there, and 2 of those days were spent with Alexkc and his family, and with Waitingsilence for a full day in the mountains. This image was taken while a very windy storm came through and was causing some very strong waves. Alessandro was kind enough to be a fantastic host and took us to many great places while we were there. This image was on my bucket list and now I have it!

Alessandro told us these fishing structures are called Tribucchi, so Tribuccho as a single one. They look like they are ready to fall over!

(not sure about the spelling of the Trabucco. I've seen it spelled a couple different ways)

So many fascinating elements to explore in this beautifully toned image. I think my favorite part is the rocky bottom and especially the way it looks through the water. Congratulations on the ribbon, Dennis. 9 from me.
