I haven't done a 1:1 macro in a long time. This is also the first photo I have done specifically for a challenge in a long time. It's too simple to do very well, but I entered this challenge for another reason. This challenge also reminds me how restrictive the basic editing rules are. This photo could be much better with a few simple spec removals.

I expect to get comments on the orientation of this photo. The second hand of this watch does not stop in the center of the "12" mark. I thought it looked better with the second hand being perfectly vertical rather than having the casing 100% correctly oriented.

A very close-up macro! But it seems to be tilted to the right which is distracting. A wider crop would also have helped I think.
