First submission over three months, so I figure I get back into the swing of things with a simple black and white. Why? Because no matter how hard I try I can't escape the black and white, it's like a sickness. Plus I hated the color, the bottle looked too black.

The slight gaininess is due to the bad ass 400 ISO \m/.

Also, I used my +4 close-up filter for this shot.

more "rule of thirds" would have gotten a 9 from me, but i gave it an 8. nice shot, i looked at it for quite awhile :o)

Very good shot, but I think the lightness is too high. There areas which look like they should be black are actually a mid-grey and there are no blacks. Is your monitor calibrated? Still a good shot. 9

good low key, could be cropped a bit closer. The frame seems to have varying border widths for the inner black line.
