 I ordered a child's apron and chef hat ($10.50!) and... when it arrived, I prepared my granddog for the shoot... days in advance, by putting either the apron or the chef's hat on her and giving her a treat. Then, another treat after everything was taken off.

She was totally calm at the shoot... so I don't know why she looks so terrified. She was happily awaiting the treat at the end.

Anyway, my daughter was sick... and she modeled for me with her dog anyway (even fought valiantly with the chef's hat which kept falling off the dog every time she looked up at her mom, which was often)... so... This is what I have and I'm happy with it.

:D

EDIT: Oh... the whites were fine... I made them look that way on purpose with editing. :D

I'm truly surprised that your composition did not finish in the top 3. I just don't get the voting sometimes. Absolutely a wonderful composition. I love your granddogger!

I wish the dog didn't look so tentative, and I'd have liked to see some sort of interaction between them. I like the soft colors, but not sure of the choice of lack of detail. Still, those are personal preferences, and this is a top notch image.
