You did a fantastic job of exposing here, preventing any glare or burnout on the flower. That isn't easy with a white subject, but you managed it well.
I like the contrast against the background, and the bg is also nice and natural. It's a little distracting toward the top with the branches and sky, and a slight change in perspective could probably have corrected it. That's not a major issue, since it is a natural scene as opposed to a set up.
Overall a very lovely image.

I like the shallow depth of field - it really brings attention to the orchid. Lighting is wonderful, the white is great without being glaring. My only problem is I find it a little hard to see the bottom of the orchid against the background - but only a small problem. Well done. |

Nice flower pic. I don't like the dark ominous background. The color contrast is good, just the background being a different mood is not so good. - Inspzil |

Pretty flower. Lighting is too uneven. I think I'd rather see a solid color background or atleast exclude the leaves along the bottom as they are distracting. Good focus. |

Nice picture with good depth of field control. On my monitor, the central white area came up as almost all white and I couldn't see very much detail. The background is a bit busy and, to me, distracting. |

Good job. I like the way that the photo is very clear and the white flower looks very nice against the sky background at the top of the photo. Overall It is a very nice picture. |

Wow, great use of contrast between the white flower and the dark brown out of focus background. In my opinion the clump of flowers itself is confusing to the eye, could the other buds have been eliminated or somehow there impact minimised? |

the branches would otherwise be distracting if the subject weren't such a lustrous and vibrant hue (yeah, tho it's only white). it really stands out tho, crisp, clean, neat. |

Good Focus! Perhaps the background could be a tad bit lighter...

My eyes focused on the soft white petals of the Orchid and then were led to the red and yellow. . . and then unfortunately to the background of the trees and branches. And excellent photograph, but I think the background got too busy. The Orchid is is very sharp focus and the colors are bright and makes the flower something beautiful to look at. |
