the edge distortion at the Nikon's widest gives this a little something. it also reveals that the very similar lens, with the same size sensor on the much older Panny LX3 is far superior.

all this is bound to make me a better photographer.

It must be utterly impossible to get a smooth OOF background with this lens. Just look at how much is in focus at f2.8!

I really liked the grrrr on Mr Dog.

The dog works but the people are standing sideways!! Hahahaha... those are the kinds of comments one get when posting an image I like. For me, this makes an ordinary shot WAY more interesting. Love the feel of the grass too. Perfect placement of the dog (for balance).
