| Conceptually this image was a good idea, but from my POV circumstances let you down; the light itself is so diffused and watery that the image lacks oomph in my eyes. I do love a shingled beach, though :-) I give this a 5 |

| average subject. Seen too many times. A 6 from me, mainly because of the technical skills (sharpness, exposure time, white balance and composition which are great) |

| The red stands out nicely from the grays and blues. Horizon feels slightly off but I think that's just because the waves were inconsiderately uneven when they hit the shore. Kinda' feel like I want to move the umbrella farther into the corner, too. But that's me :-) Still near the top of my voting heap. |
