 taken at the last minute... saw the challenge and figured i'd go for it. used the lense mounted backwards tehcnique to get the macro effect without the macro cost!!!!

You've certainly captured the feeling of heat. If the background provided more contrast to the flame, this might have been an outstanding shot.

You've certainly got the colours to match the title.....but I'm sorry, am not sure what this is a macro of.
