God's Own Drunk/Buddy Bear

This cinnamon-colored black bear had a rough day. He was rousted out of his daytime napping place and tagged with rubber pellets from a police shotgun. (A local had complained about his proximity to her property.) Then, he engaged in a fight with another bear whose territory he encroached. He wasn't happy and was saying, "Hurry sundown!". Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF400mm f/4 DO IS II USM, 1/500s@f/4.5, ISO 1000, lens focal length 400mm. 08/02/17 6:33pm.

I can't believe how many people are seeing bears in Rocky! I hope I get to see one sometime. This is great!

That feels like you are pretty close to that bear - great shot. The out of focus areas are a little off-putting, not sure if that's the quality of the lens or post-processing, but the bear itself is great
