| I like this but I feel the white circle spoils it for me I love the left side and to me that fits the challenge but that circle seems to spotlight those berries and that takes away the impressionism I hope you know what I am on about Nice image though |

| The specular white on the upper right is a nice background for the end berries, but the far end of the branch still seems too in focus compared to those light areas. |

| I think the branch going out to the left leads your eye out of the photo. Cropping it to the left of the single berry would have been more effective. The placing of the berry group over the reflection is taking advantage of a light source and a good effect. |

| I love how it reaches out towards me- an excellent photograph. Most of the photograph nails the challenge, the berries in the background look downright painterly. But I feel the main subject is too tack sharp and vivid to be considered "impressionism". I would have preferred to see the entire photo with colors and vague shapes to clue me as to the subject. |

| This picture shows that you have alot of photographic talent. You have given much thought to the positioning, DOF, lighing and subject matter and accomplished it all extremely well. |

I am only commenting and using a place holder score during this pass.
I'm on dialup so I get a slow preview of the picture starting from the upper portion. As I watched it present itself, I liked what I saw up until the sharply focused berry came into the frame. The rest of the picture has a kind of survival reaching feeling which is great. The white orbs could represent winter and it looks like fog all around. All of those things are offset by that berry. |

| 8 - I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for pictures of fruits on trees. Hopefully, there is nothing Freudian in that. Aside for the great contrast between the berries and the darkness around the pic, I like the sense of the branch coming forward out of the distance in the upper left side. Although most of the picture is out of focus it still has a great sense of depth. |
