This is a really lovely portrait. I love everything about it.
That story you included... boy! it leaves you speechless. How incredibly irresponsible for parents to let a kid get away with behavior like that. Not only bad for any animal he comes across, but bad, bad, bad for the kid's development too, regardless of whether he ever gets bitten or not. |

Excellent image, he looks so tough with the studded collar!
That is a sad story you included in the thread. Those are the type of parents who hold everybody else accountable for their children's behavior, then wonder "why" when the kid someday ends up in prison. Very sad. |

The story you told is pathetic -I would have gone crazy with anger I think... |

its a beautiful shot peggy ..
i read your story in the thread ... its often nearly impossible to understand why some ppl behave as they do .. the child for starters and then his parents .. no intervention is unbelievable .. very upsetting for anyone who loves animals to witness.. upsetting just to hear about it .. :) |

One of the best dog portraits I've ever voted on. Congrats on a well-lighted and interesting shot |

Beautiful portrait. Dogs are so loyal. I get a kick out of his "spiked" collar. 9 |

This is an O.K. studio shot with a few technical flaws. The focus is off, as the face of the dog looks a little OOF (it seems as though the focus area fell on the collar). Lighting is ok, but needed a little more highlight on the eye and ears. You also have some vignetting in the corners. |

A little more brightness and this would be perfect. I have a chihuahua who is my hero too. |

I love chihuahuas and this one is very well photographed. Framed and exposed very well. 8 |

Sometimes small heros are the best. I like the light colored fur against the light background - the spiky collar really pops out and says, "I'm may look cute, but I'm tough were it counts." Lighting this a bit more dramatically - bright on one side and dark on another, might have differentiated the dog from the background a bit more. Also could be a bit sharper. |
