some might comment on the out of focus hat, but i think that it actually plays to support the idea you seem to be trying to convey - the focus on the hidden beauty of her face, rather than the hat or anything else. good job.

Nice. Overexposed hat is bit distracting though, and I see no perticular reason for so much space below the chin.

This is different, and I like the approach. I think it is a little too midtone for such a dramatic pose. The lighting on the mouth is beautiful. I think I could have given this a 9 if the tones had a little more contrast. 8.
