His face and hands express deep experience. The foreground and background are casual and unpretentious, as he is too. Every crease and crag is lovingly presented. I like this quietly dynamic portrait.
A question about the title -- why wouldn't he be a gentleman inside? Clothing and character needn't be at odds.
