| I like the tonality, a few hot spots - the relationship between the objects is a bit obscure, for a traditional still life, but I like what is happening with the reflective surface which starts to bring the parts together and serves to repeat the shapes. |

| A still life composition should have some kind of a point to it, not just a set of random objects; an immaculate light, especially in b/w; and well thought out composition. Unfrotunately, i don't see any of that here. |

| The edge of the apple appears to have the jaggies and it looks a bit flat or rather rectangular rather than round for some reason. I might have tried this without the frame because of the distracting hot spots and on it and reflected on the decanter. But I am enjoying looking at if none the less. |

| cool still life, I like the way the water and glass are used to create the prism effect on the metal frame |

| Interesting choice of elements for your bw still life. I'm not keen on the reflections off the bottle or the (frame?). Good try though |

| It's a good idea and you have various shapes and textures but there are a few technical issues that let the image down. The highlight on the metal frame is blown, and there are some distracting light reflections on the bottle too. The sheet the items are on is ruffled near the apple and that is a little distracting also. Overall the image is a little static. |
