 Thanks for the great votes on this.
I was in a "animal market" in Oman. Yes he was OK with the shot (even if I didn't ask). The Oman people are exceptionally kind.
And yes, in the background they are tourist.

His look is so intense it makes me feel uncomfortable. How about you? Was getting this shot comfortable? Congrats on the HM.

Fine intense portrait. He looks coiled and ready. Was he ok with being photographed? His turban (not sure of the proper name) seems out of character, pretty and jaunty. As a matter of fact he kind or looks like Sean Connery. The people in the background seem to be casually clothed -- are they tourists? I'm posing all these annoying questions because I'm confused, but in the end that doesn't take away my fascination with his challenging, direct, powerful gaze.
