 Thank you all most kindly! In the winter, the light here in the late afternoons can be quite spectacular. And when the tide is ultra low, we go down and run the beach, on the sand. It's quite marvelous.

Here's my winner for the month. This is rather breathtaking in its matter-of-fact, offhand perfection. The bird makes it. And the child-too-far on the right, striding into nothingness. It helps that if this were a petapixel project, you could see my old house :-)
