 Cardinals are my favorite songbird to photograph. This female was either taking a snow bath, or mis-judged her edges when coming in for a landing.

An appealing image that contributes to the challenge brief well

Great dynamics Drake, lots of comments, which also goes to prove the value of a title to an image, not only does it add value to the image but it also gives an insight into the photographer's thoughts and aims in creating the image which again helps the commenter to assess the image. Anyway, all that said, the snow shower fills the frame nicely which would overpower the hard to see bird, its very fortunate the bird is such a bright scarlet colour it still manages to come through.
