This is a great image, my only suggestion would be to crop out the black area on the right. I think you will find this makes a dramatic difference. Nice work.

I like the simple lines of this and the interplay of shadows in various part of the scene

Rather than making me feel that this is a path leading somewhere, I feel trapped and boxed in by this piece. My eye goes directly to the corner on the near side of the arch. The tension created is suffocating rather than liberating.

Good tones, and good lines. The one thing that doesn't work for me is the framing in the askew (because of angle) doorway and the large amount of negative space relative to the geometric pattern presented.
