Just a little more light on her face would be nice. Those incredible eyes need more attention.

Great eyes! Maybe a little more light on the face to reduce some distracting shadows and a catch light in the eyes would have her face and eyes standout more. As for the compostion, I think the crop could have been much closer, and the camera angle more at eye level. At this angle, she looks diminutive and weak, the opposite if the title. Just my opinions. 5

I thinks this would have been better without the shadows in her face, if the face was light up better, and the eyes are too dark , what you might want to think about when taking portrait pictures is to have the eyes sharp and well lit up with a reflection in it to get more life in the eys. hope it helps, good luck

a rare case where centering acctually works. try to use a sheet as a background to eliminate that pesky line of the corner, allowing you to focus more on the child and the look in her face. Id also suggest a new title, while this one may be cute, it could be better.

Nice pose, would have been better to me if you had used a reflector or another light to remove the heavy shadows in the left side of her face and under the eyes.

This certainly has a lot of potential... I think it would have been a bit stronger had the light been straight on. Her facial features are a bit too dark to my eye. Cute kid!

You have a very beautiful subject here but I think the lighting does not do her justice. It's a bit harsh and casts some bad shadows accross her face. Maybe one other soft light coming in from her right side would have helped out a bit and lessened some of the shadow. Also where the floor and background come together in that joint is a bit distracting. You have a nice subject to work with and I bet you get some much better pictures of her in the future. Good effort.

The lighting could have been better - the shalow covers up her cute face.

Very cute- I love her expression, she looks like a kid, its very true and real- I kinda wish that teh bottom color matched the background, more contrast would make this better-6
