Greetings from the critique club.
Composition: I really like the angle for this shot. The three colors you chose for this work well too. Including the sun in this was also another added bonus. The blue sky for a background is nice because there are no distractions to take your eyes away from the subject. I think repositioning the shot so the sun was still there but there wasnt so much negative space at the top would have really centered the attention on the main subject.
Technical: The focus is great. The lens flare is a really big distraction though.
Overall: Great picture and great composition and colors with the only really big distraction being the lens flare. |

That face looks familiar, but I could be wrong :)....nice perspective, love how the sun 'peeks' in on the shot....just too bad for the lens flare, though...still an 8 |

This composition is highly centred. In this case it kind of works. I like central composition when it has a purpose. However, I find this photo a little uniniteresting this way. All the negative space around the man is kind of purposeless. A closer crop would be more effective I think.
I like the lens flare though, it really adds to the image :). |

I like this perspective! I have several similar shots of my children like this, and shooting them from above at a similar angle. This shot would work better for me if I could see more face, and if there were more light on the face. A reflector of some kind (whit foam board or even poster board works well) to the right would have cast more light to the right side of the face. I love the depth of the blue in the sky and that it is a clear sky. The sun on the edge of the frame breaks up the large area of blue and adds some interest. I'm not usually a big fan of lens flare, but I think it works here. |

Interesting perspective, that's low! Very good color, framing and focus. While I like the inclusion of the sun, the sunflares across the photo don't seem to add a benefit. 7 Swash |

I love the sun in the top left corner, you can see the rays shotting out from it. Maybe it's my monitor, but the white round spot at about the pocket on the right side is a little distracting. It was either a spot on your lens or on my monitor. I love the angle of this shot, not flattering but different. Sure fits the title. Well done photo, nicely focused and well cropped. Good shot. |

Great symmetry. Did you want the sun in the shot like that, or could you ahve moved some so that it wasn't? Wonderful, simple colors. |

Taken at this perspective this guy looks to be at least 10 feet tall. The subject is a bit boring, but an overall great photo! |

Me like. Very original subject. The focus and DOF are perfect. The colors are great. The sun does put me of the subject though. 8 |

lens flare saves this from being dull - I realise it would be hard, but more of a lean/ angle would have filled the frame better and left the head less centered |

Interesting lens flare effect around the head (huge corona). The bug must wonder "Is this our God?". |

excellent extreme angle perspective shot... excellent exposure as well... the sun and the minor lens flare make this shot quite interesting :) - setzler |
