I'm pretty sure that a lot of people have similar low-effort shots in this challenge, but I couldn't resist since this is my first challenge entry with my new 20D. Hoping he's cute enough to keep me from the bottom entries...
The very handsome hero is my 13 month old son called Leifur (my favorite model, he was starring in my entry for 'Giving thanks' about a year ago) sitting on the floor in my living room. To get him to pose like that I asked him how tall he was (a real party trick these days). Found out it's pretty hard shooting a moving subject (he's all over the place) with a aperture of 1.8 at that distance, most of my shots from tonight are out of focus (this one is a tiny bit front focused...)
Used the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 @ 1.8, and the lighting is just the regular room lighting (3 halogen lamps). Custom WB (shot the wall before), and overexposed by 2/3 stops.
Anyway, I neat image'd it, resize, sharpening and did slight levels to lighten it up a bit.
