A brief trip to Brooklyn, NY to meet my week old granddaughter, my first grandchild :-), took me through Grand Central Terminal, which I've seen in photos but never visited. On the way home I had 30 minutes to spare and made my way up to the balcony at one end (only to find almost all the space seemingly dedicated to an Apple store!). Nevertheless one can still lean over the balcony and enjoy the building, the wonderful open space, and the activity below.
I love the patterns of how people stand or walk together, the clumps of people and the spaces ~~ like the space when the British queue versus other cultures! I found this image very evocative, although maybe a bit overexposed, and to my eyes these are clearly people/maybe even human(but that's another question). I guess I pushed the boundary too far for a bunch of the voters!
First time I've used my phone camera in anything but automatic mode which was fun.
