The reds against the white make for a sharp image, simple and graphically strong. But, quibble quibble, I don't quite find the monk convincing. The pose, the dyed hair, the trim beard -- doesn't fit my preconception. But what do I know, skipping over to a culture of which I have little knowledge. So if I'm way off base, my apology. |

Good portrait. To me, the color looks like Kodachrome 64, but the digital artifacts take away its film-like look. 6 |
