Great character, I would have cropped this much tighter as there seems to be a lot of unused space that doesn't contribute to the story

Pleasant composition, centralized as it is, for it underscores Eddie's calm and self-assurance. The varied blues and greens are nicely complemented by the lamp in its entirety. Aptly chosen depth of field. All told, a very fine image, even before we really make contact with the man. He seems to be someone who would be fun to engage in conversation, or even a passing hello. I believe you're fortunate to have him as a neighbor.
