Thank you everyone! I left for Europe hours after this challenge finished so I had very little time to respond so just now getting back to reading all the comments.
I don't do a lot of post editing, so although this isn't exactly as it came out of the camera it is very close!

| My favorite subject. I have not seen a shot of a hummingbird on this site caught in such a beautiful pose and natural setting. The Wings are still, feet outstretched and mostly in focus. Great shot! |

this has to be one of my absolute favourites from this free study ..
its a magical image .. the colours .. the composiiton .. that stunning shallow depth of field .. and of course that little humming bird .. so perfectly in focus .. :) |

Love the color and details of this photo! Excellent job on capturing the hummingbird in mid-air!Great details in the head and wing of this ruby throat hummingbird as it takes a sip from the flower before zipping off to the next one. |

| Perfect sharpness on that little face, and I like the composition. I might brighten this up a bit more, but it's a very nice image. |

| Great capture. I like the softness but I feel a bit more contrast on the bird would be nice. The colours are beautiful and the bokeh is marvelous. |
