 I have done this before: don't read the entire challenge description before working on something. I saw boredom. I saw night. I saw objects around the house. I neglected to take the "just as it is" literally. Oh well. I was just thinking - "at night, I'll need light ..." DSC_5044-Edit

-- happy to hear my less literal interpretation of the challenge went over well. As photographers, I suppose we are in charge of determining how we process light – I took that to a fun, boredom-killing level I suppose ;)
This one was riding in the high 7.7 area on the first couple days ... it gradually dropped to 6.6 and finished a little stronger =)) Thanks for the votes and comments!

Just recalled something I didn't put int he edit notes. i did apply a bit of Orton effect to this as well.

Congratulations! My top pick, sorry I didn't comment earlier. I meant to. This conjures up memories of my father playing 'Der Sturm' on the piano. He really got into it!

My stand alone 10 and I'm delighted to see it with the Blue. I didn't read the challenge description as literally as some, I guess. I just figured it meant you wandered around the house looking for possible subjects - piano, music . . . how can I take a photo of music . . . I know, I'll play around with this laser. And you succeeded wildly. But you will NEVER get to sleep if that's what's playing in your head. Congratulations.
